Parent/Teacher Fellowship

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship is a vital part of Calvary Chapel
Christian School. Every parent of students enrolled at CCCS is
automatically a member of this essential organization.
Vision- To establish a fellowship between home and school, increasing cooperation and
communication.
- To work together as parents and staff to coordinate school events and activities.
- To glorify God through healthy, supportive relationships, and to model healthy adult interaction for our
children.
PTF Leadership TeamPTF PresidentThe
PTF President will be chosen by a committee, which may include, but is
not limited to, the Elementary and Secondary Principals,
Superintendent, and other PTF Leadership Team members, with the
Principal and Superintendent having final approval. The PTF President
will preside at PTF meetings, and oversee all members of the PTF
Leadership Team to ensure that the objectives are being accomplished.
The PTF President is the official representative of PTF at all events
and meetings, and the contact person between PTF and the Administration
at Calvary Chapel Christian School. The President shall attend all PTF
meetings.
PTF Vice-PresidentThe
PTF Vice-President serves as a support for the PTF President. They
should feel comfortable offering advice and ideas, working along side
the President, and assisting in resolving any issue that arises. In the
event that the President cannot attend a function or event, the
Vice-President may represent the President in whatever capacity is
necessary. The Vice-President shall attend all PTF meetings.
SecretaryThe
Secretary shall keep record of all PTF meetings and shall provide the
President with a list of unfinished business for the agenda for
upcoming meetings. The Secretary will maintain a roster of attendees
and send out communication as necessary. The PTF Secretary shall attend
all PTF meetings.
TreasurerThe
Treasurer shall keep a financial record of all transactions of the PTF.
The Treasurer is responsible for counting all monies of the PTF. The
Treasurer shall request checks as necessary, and distribute monies
according to organization guidelines. The Treasurer shall attend all
PTF meetings and provide the President and Superintendent with a
statement of financial status, and give a report at large.
Room Parent CoordinatorThe
RPC shall communicate and coordinate information with the Room Mom’s
for dissemination. The RPC shall assist the Elementary Principal in
fulfilling the vision or the Room Parent Program. The RPC shall attend
all PTF meetings. One Room Parent per class will be designated as the
Classroom Representative.
Classroom RepresentativesClassroom
Representatives are the key contact person between teachers and the
PTF, and should attend all meetings. The Classroom Representatives help
to plan and communicate about grade appropriate events.
Committee
LeadersCommittee
Leaders shall attend all PTF meetings. They are responsible for
overseeing, from beginning to end, the plan of organization,
delegation, and follow-up of whatever event or project they are
responsible for. The Committee Leaders must report regularly to the PTF
President with status of progress and any concerns that arise.
