Elementary School General Information
The Elementary division of Calvary Chapel Christian School includes students in Kindergarten through the Fifth Grade. There are two classes per grade level with the goal of twenty four students per class. There are approximately 300 students enrolled in the Elementary School. In addition to their primary curriculum, the students receive instruction in Art, Music, Physical Education and Computers. Chapel is normally held twice a week in the Sanctuary. One Chapel is for students in Kindergarten through Second grades and the second is for students in Third through Fifth grades. Organized sports programs begin in the Fifth Grade.
Principal's WelcomeWelcome, students and parents to Calvary Chapel Christian School. I am anticipating another great year with you and the rest of the Calvary community. I am very proud of our team of outstanding teachers, instructional aides, and support staff that are here to serve you and meet all of your educational needs. Together, we will not only meet, but exceed the standards that are placed before us.
The goal this year is to make this a positive transition for everyone involved by providing students with an educational experience that will encourage academic, social and spiritual growth. Our mission is to offer a uniquely Christ-based model of education, utilizing the example of Jesus in Luke 2:52 as a model, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” Therefore CCCS is dedicated to seeing our students grow in wisdom (academic growth), in stature (physical growth), in favor with God (spiritual growth) and in favor with man (social growth).
Our objective is to create a learning environment that is challenging, supportive, and dedicated to the total growth of the students we serve. At CCCS we seek to discover, encourage, and cultivate the gifts each student possesses; to deepen each student’s faith in Jesus Christ; and to inspire each student to realize his or her full potential in serving the Lord. Our desire is that our students will develop a passion to impact the world with excellence and to glorify God in every area of their lives – spiritually, physically, academically and socially.
Our purpose is to see students become lifelong learners and disciples of Jesus Christ.
